Helen of Catkins Cattery has been looking after our cats for the last 6 years. I was recommended her by a friend and she has just been amazing. Initially looking after our cats in the cattery when we went away, and for the last few years looking after them in our home as part of the ‘meals on wheels’ service. This ended up working out much better for our cats, they are rescue cats and any upheaval such as even taking them to the vet in the car can become too much for them. As much as they were incredibly looked after at Helen’s amazing cattery, they just didn’t like being away from their home and hate car journeys. So, when Helen started the meals on wheels service, we thought this was fantastic.
Helen is always there whenever we go away, we have family and friends dotted around the country. It’s never a problem even short notice when we had a bereavement and we had to be away for a while, Helen was there and nothing was ever too much trouble. It’s so comforting to know that your fur babies are so well looked after and we never have to worry when we go away. Helen is just fantastic and we would highly recommend her cattery and meals on wheels service to anyone!
Best. Discovery. Ever. Helen goes above and beyond when looking after my cats. I can relax knowing they are in the best care with any medical/dietary requirements easily catered for. So much so they always seem reluctant to come home! I cannot recommend Catkins highly enough.
Having looked at many Catteries the only one I would ever send my cat to is Catkins. My cat is very old and when he stays with Helen she gives him his medication and makes so much fuss of him that he doesn’t want to leave! I trust Helen implicitly with our very loved old boy and would recommend her beautiful clean Cattery to anyone.”
I can honestly say that Catkins Cattery is the best in thearea! I’ve used Catkins for the past 10 years and would definitely not take mymoggy anywhere else. Each cat has their own safe and warm chalet with aseparate sleeping area, which is perfect if your moggy is a little nervous likemine. Helen will go out of her way to make sure your cat is settled and happywhich gives me peace of mind, knowing my cat is in good hands. I would highlyrecommend.
As a lifelong cat lover, I have tried various options for caring for my cats when I am away from home. I have no doubt that Helen’s Meals on Wheels service is the best. My cats can stay in the comfort of their own home. They know Helen’s friendly face and lovely cuddles but they also know that I will be back shortly, which is far less stressful for them than having a cat sitter as an added benefit I have the reassurance of knowing that the house is not being left unattended. It is a great service all round!
